🌟 [WELCOME MR. PETER GANSS TO ABVN] 🌟
🎉 We’re excited to welcome Mr. Peter Ganss, our newest volunteer teacher at ABVN!
🌻Peter was born in Manchester, England, and is a dual citizen of Australia and the UK, though he proudly calls Australia home. He now lives in Melbourne, Victoria.
🏥 Peter has had a long and diverse career, mostly in hospital management, working as both an HR manager and a business manager. He’s worked with the Australian Red Cross and served as a hospital administrator for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
🚴♂️ For the past 10 years, Peter has been a professional cycling coach, training Australian national champions and managing teams in international competitions. He’s also helped athletes prepare for the Olympic Games and World Championships. A passionate cyclist himself, he is a four-time national champion in his age group and has represented Australia at the World Masters Championships.
🌈Peter’s connection to Vietnam comes from a beloved family member, Dung, who is married to his wife’s cousin. Thanks to her and his Vietnamese language teacher, Xuan-Vi, Peter was inspired to join ABVN and support Vietnamese students.
⚽ Outside of work, Peter enjoys traveling, football (he’s a loyal Manchester United fan!), and of course, cycling especially on the velodrome track. One of his dreams is to help build a velodrome in Vietnam someday!
🎊 Let’s give a warm welcome to Mr. Peter at ABVN. Hoping he will have an enjoyable time with all the students here💚💚💚
